Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate research is an outstanding learning experience and is all but essential for students interested in graduate school in the physical sciences. Interested students should email a resume to William Dichtel and see the Cornell Undergraduate Research page for introductory questions and funding opportunities.

Graduate Students

Graduate students interested in joining the group should apply to the Graduate Program in Chemistry and Biochemistry at Cornell. We welcome inquiries about our research by prospective graduate students, but are not able to answer administrative questions relating to the admissions process.

Postdoctoral Researchers

Highly motivated, passionate chemists with interests in organic chemistry, materials science, or nanofabrication, as well as an interest in mentoring young graduate students are encouraged to apply. Please send your curriculum vitae, a brief research summary, and contact information for three references to William Dichtel.
